I went to Weighted by Design to order a weighted blanket for my son. He is a special needs child in many ways. The fabrics were absolutely beautiful, and the minky fleece is so soft I rub my hands all over it. In the end, I ordered three–one for every member of my household who wanted one. They were delivered quickly; the quality of work was outstanding. We couldn’t love them more. The owner is skilled, fast, and is very much into eco-friendly and responsible with respect to the materials she uses. If you look around the website, my blanket is the one with elephants and mallard blue fleece backing. I love it. I had not been using it much lately, as I am too busy as a single parent, homeschool teacher, house disinfector and cook. At school, has four teachers. At home, he has one. These blankets are so comforting and relaxing, it’s going to get me through this pandemic. Five stars!
